Flowers are yellow polychrome with a
toothy gold-yellow edge and a small green
throat. What a killer pedigree for toothy
daylilies. What is hidden is the green in the
315-13 seedling. The best edge seedling
was one purchased by Larry Grace from
Frank Smith for $5,000. It had an extremely
green edge. That seedling does not exist
anymore, but the genetics is in 315-13. It
will be a future introduction someday. What
is so great about 315-13, it passes green
teeth into the offspring. This daylily is a
game changer for hybridizers who want the
green in their program. Spacecoast Lap of
Luxury is the first to include these genetics.
Also notice the tetra Tuscawilla Snowdrift,
which is a huge white flower. That part of
the pedigree was a huge white with teeth.
Aside from the cool genetics, Spacecoast
Lap of Luxury has a great plant habit and
striking flower, very unique.
